Lifeways Programs
The Lifeways School offers a variety of additional programs which are offered to the students. Among these are the After School Program, Home Training, Vocational Training Job Sites.
After School Program
The After School Program is offered Monday through Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m.. Students participate in a variety of activities which include art, gym, outings, and games. Students also work on building Social strategies with there peers.The After School Staff will work with the students individual behavior guidelines to ensure a positive after school experience. Placement in the After School Program is determined on by the entire team and arrange through the home district school.
Home Training
Vocational Training Job Sites
Lifeways offers Vocational Training Jobsite's both within the school and in the community. Students participate in on-site job training programs from the Elementary program through the High school program. These include delivering mail, copying, shredding, sorting, cleaning, and meal prep. We also offer a few off-site vocational training areas including the Got Books bookstore in Reading, and Sun Bridge Nursing Home in Methuen. These sites are available to Middle school and High school students and are based on the teams recommendation due to exhibiting positive behavior within the school.
