Professional Development Program
CPR & First Aid
The GLEC Professional Devleopment Program offers Full Certification and Re-Certification programs for American Heart Association CPR and First Aid. This certification is good for 2 years. This course is offered at the GLEC Campus location and can be offered at the site of your choice as well, based on schedules and need.
Crisis Prevention Institute Training
In addition to CPR, we also offer Full Certification and Re-Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training. Again this training is offered on the GLEC Campus or can be offered at the site of your choice, based on schedule and need.
Special Education Instructional Assistant Certification
The SPEDIAC Program (Special Education Instructional Assistant Certification) is offered twice per year, a spring and fall offering). This multi-topic course covers all the essential information that SPED IA’s need to perform their jobs to the best of their abilities. The course runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 6 p.m. for 11 weeks.
