Older Peer Group

Coastal gradsThe concept of the Older Peer Group within our school structure has been established for the purpose of highlighting those behaviors and attitudes that we feel are important in determining personal growth, as well as an indication of the potential for success upon commencement. It is our philosophy that responsibility represents growth and as a student progresses through the school, his or her identification as an Older Peer is the visible representation of that acceptance of responsibility.

Community Connection

Students are excited to be involved in the community service projects including reading group for the Salisbury Elementary students, the Harborside Nursing Home, and their newest addition, Opportunity Works. Opportunity Works is a facility for developmentally delayed adults in Newburyport where students are able to help with the daily needs of the individuals. This serves as a learning experience for our students as many of them are inquisitive of entering the field of human services.
