Special Needs Transportation

As an agent for its member school districts, the Collaborative is responsible for providing daily transportation services for students attending GLEC programs and private schools outside the Greater Lawrence area. The Collaborative's fleet of vans and wheelchair buses, including new forward-facing wheelchair vehicles equipped with air conditioning and shoulder and lap seatbelts, transports many students each day, while sub-contractors transport additional students.

All Collaborative drivers and monitors are certified in CPR and first aid and receive training in medical emergencies and behavior management.
